Billy J. Harkey

Billy J. Harkey, born on February 8, 1949, in the vibrant community that shaped his early years, departed this life on March 31, 2025. His presence in our lives was a source of warmth and joy, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him.

A lifelong resident of Grand Prairie, Texas, Billy was known for his spirited demeanor and unwavering kindness. He embraced each moment with enthusiasm, sharing laughter and wisdom with family, friends, and even strangers. Billy will be remembered fondly by those whose lives he touched. As we gather to celebrate his remarkable journey, a graveside service will be held on April 22, 2025, at Mountain Creek Cemetery, located on Hardy Road in Grand Prairie. Friends and family are invited to come together from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM to honor his memory and reflect on the joyful moments spent with this extraordinary man.

Although he has left this earthly realm, the legacy of Billy J. Harkey will continue to live on in the hearts of many.
