Dorothy Jean Seals

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy Jean Seals, who departed this life on December 13, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on February 8, 1945, Dorothy was a remarkable individual whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.

Dorothy embodied a spirit of resilience and compassion. Her unwavering dedication to her family and community was matched only by her extraordinary ability to bring people together in love and friendship. She will be remembered not only for her nurturing nature but also for her remarkable sense of humor that could lift the spirits of those around her.

To honor her memory, a visitation will be held on December 18, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Eternal Rest Funeral Home in Desoto, Texas. Friends and loved ones are invited to come and share their memories and celebrate the life of this extraordinary woman. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place on December 19, 2025, at 11:00 AM at New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas. This service will serve as a heartfelt farewell to a beloved soul who leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion.

Dorothy Jean Seals will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will live on in the hearts she touched throughout her life.
