Hollis Hill Sr.

Hollis Hill Sr., a cherished member of the community, passed away on May 25, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on September 1, 1934, Mr. Hill’s life was one marked by dedication and quiet strength, leaving behind a legacy that will be remembered and honored by those who knew him.

A visitation to pay respects will be held on June 11, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Eternal Rest Funeral Home Desoto, located at 1400 N Hampton Rd, Desoto, TX 75115. This gathering will provide a moment for family, friends, and acquaintances to come together and reflect on Mr. Hill’s life and the impact he made.

The funeral service will take place the next day, June 12, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM and concluding at 12:00 PM in the Large Chapel of Eternal Rest Desoto, at the same address. This solemn occasion will celebrate Mr. Hill’s enduring spirit and the many ways he touched the lives around him.

Following the service, burial will be conducted on June 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Laurel Land Memorial Park, 6000 South R L Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75241, where friends and family will gather to bid a final farewell.
