Isaac Alexander Valdez

Isaac Alexander Valdez passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, following a serious brain injury caused by a seizure.
Isaac was born on April 11, 2000, to loving parents Vincent and Tara Valdez. Moments earlier, his twin brother Jacob had been born, marking the start to an unbreakable bond. From early childhood, Isaac showed a deep sense of wonder, standing in awe of his Creator and the creation around him. Isaac loved his family and cherished childhood memories of sibling fun including digging holes, hiking, playing chess, listening to lectures, and building with Legos, magnets, and rocks. As Isaac grew older, he developed a love for walking and a voracious curiosity about science, languages, history, and computers. He valued quiet time spent meditating on the Scriptures. Isaac made his dedication to Jehovah God known through water baptism at 14 and served faithfully through his life.
Isaac's life was complicated by visual impairment and epilepsy, but his 26 years were also marked by perspective and faith, despite the challenges brought by illness. He understood that poor health was temporary and held firmly to the hope of the future promised by Jehovah. Isaac saw the world through his heart, not merely through his eyes. Isaac remained living at his family home in Midlothian throughout his life. He attended Global High School and studied computer science at the University of Texas at Arlington.
Isaac served as a volunteer Bible teacher in his congregation and Waxahachie community. He delighted in his time spent pioneering and treasured his experience at Pioneer Service School in July 2019. He also devoted himself as a Ministerial Servant until his health no longer allowed him to do so.
Whether studying on his own or alongside the congregation, Isaac loved to delve into deeper things. He often engaged others by asking about their personal study projects, genuinely interested in what they were learning and thinking. Isaac will be remembered for his deep curiosity for learning, the world around him, and above all for Jehovah God.
Isaac is survived by his parents, Vincent and Tara Valdez; siblings, Isabella, Jacob, and Mark Valdez; grandmothers, Billie Henderson and Wilda Rodriguez (David); and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Alexander Valdez and Travis Henderson.
