To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the Heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted.
Jim Earvin Henry was born on September 30, 1947 to the union of Fred Henry Sr. and
Myrtie Dawkins Henry in Centerville Leon County, Texas.
Jim received his formal education at Frederick Douglass High School in Centerville, Texas.
He was employed by the City of Dallas and The American Legion Post as a Maintenance Supervisor.
Jim departed this life on November 1, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents: Fred Sr. and Myrtie Henry; sisters: Elmira, Ethel, Vera, Rutine, Barbara, Peggy and Jeanette; brothers: Fred Jr., Arch, Connell and Fennell.
He leaves to cherish his memory his two brothers: Joe (Ramona) and Pastor Billy Henry.
