Nancy Collins

Nancy Jean Collins was born November 3, 1945, to the union of Alferd Nelson and Leona Biggins Nelson in Ennis Texas.

 Nancy Jean Collins received her formal education at Carver High School in Ennis Texas. Nancy Accepted Christ as her Savior at New Hope Baptist Church at the age of 16.

 Nancy Nelson was united in holy matrimony with Thomas Collins Sr in 1964 in Ennis Texas. Their union was blessed with nine children.

She was self-employed doing housekeeping for 30 years. In her leisure time, she enjoyed taking long walks, dancing and quality time with her family. She had membership at Golden Circle in Ennis Texas.

 Nancy Jean Collins departed this life on November 5,2022. She was preceded in death by husband Thomas James Collins Sr, parents Alfred and Leona Nelson, three sisters Joyce Collins, Glenda Fay Nelson, Sandra Nelson, one son Kenneth Nelson, five brothers Alfred, Willie, Charles, Chester, Conrad and Freddie Lee Nelson, five sisters Eguenia Miller, Lula Kelley, Carrie Waites, Paulene Waites and Nita Nelson.

She Leaves to cherish her memories daughters Kawania (LaDareen)Hill, Tawania Collins, son Thomas James Collins Jr, grandchildren Dyshun Hill, Dytaveion Hill, Montrell Collins, Adrain Collins, Adreana Washington, Teandrea Collins, Tyshuna Collins, Desiree Hill, Deann Hill, Darnisha Williams and a host of nephews, nieces and relatives.
