Raheem Ja'Vaughn Smith

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Raheem Ja'Vaughn Smith, who left this world on April 28, 2025, at the tender age of sixteen. Raheem was born on August 14, 2008, and in his brief time with us, he touched the lives of many with his infectious smile, boundless energy, and kind spirit.

A talented young individual, Raheem had a passion for learning and exploring new ideas, and he never failed to inspire those around him with his enthusiasm. His friends and family will remember him not only for his vibrant personality but also for his compassion and ability to uplift others, serving as a source of strength for them in their most challenging times.

Raheem's family and friends are invited to celebrate his life during the visitation service, which will take place on May 9, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Eternal Rest Funeral Home located at 1400 N Hampton Rd, Desoto, TX 75115. A funeral service will follow on May 10, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM in the DeSoto Small Chapel at the same location, concluding at 12:00 PM.

Raheem will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and community.
