Mr. Ray Anthony King, Sr. was born August 5, 1950 in Pleasanton, Texas to the union of the late Lonnie and Hettie King. This beloved life came to a close March 2, 2016.

He was reared in Pleasanton, Texas and moved to Dallas, Texas in 1969 to work and was a retired employee of Wonder Bread ICB.

He was united in Holy Matrimony with Rubye Rivers in 1973 and to this union three children were born.

He leaves to cherish his memory:  his wife of forty-two years, Mrs. Rubye King; one son, Ray Anthony King, Jr.; two daughters, Renita King and Stephanie King all of Dallas, Texas; two brothers, Leo King of Austin, Texas and Lawrence (Jeanette) Cole of Pleasanton, Texas; two sisters, Hedy Watson (James) of Houston, Texas and Myrtle (Michael) Toliver of Pleasanton, Texas; sister-in-law, Beverly King, wife of his late brother, Wayne King of Houston, Texas; eight grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
