Ricky Nelom Johnson

Ricky Nelom Johnson, born on May 7, 1951, departed this life on December 1, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and cherished memories that will forever resonate within the hearts of those who knew him.

Throughout his life, Ricky was known for his kindness and unwavering spirit. He was a beacon of positivity in the lives of his family members and friends. His laughter was infectious, and his wisdom offered comfort and guidance even during difficult times. Ricky embodied the qualities of a true friend, always ready to lend a listening ear or a helping hand whenever someone was in need.

Visitation will be held on December 9, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Eternal Rest Funeral Home in Desoto, Texas. The memorial service will take place the following day, December 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Eternal Rest DeSoto Small Chapel. Following the service, Ricky will be laid to rest during a burial ceremony on December 11, 2025, at 10:15 AM at the DFW-Dallas–Fort Worth National Cemetery.
