It is with deep respect and heartfelt remembrance that we announce the passing of Terasa Donyell Banks-Sneed, who departed this life on June 15, 2026, at the age of 49. Born on July 31, 1976, Terasa’s journey touched the lives of many and leaves a lasting legacy in the hearts of those who knew her.
Terasa Donyell Banks-Sneed’s life was marked by dedication, resilience, and compassion. Throughout her years, she carried herself with a quiet strength, embodying kindness and thoughtfulness in all her relationships. To her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her, Terasa was a source of support, encouragement, and warmth.
Her passage, though deeply felt, reminds all who mourn her of the impact she made through simple acts of love and small gestures that left significant marks in the lives around her. Terasa’s memory will live on in the countless moments she shared, and through the enduring bonds she created during her time with us.
Family, friends, and members of the community are invited to join in celebrating Terasa’s life and paying their respects at several services. A visitation will be held on June 26, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Eternal Rest Funeral Home Desoto, located at 1400 N Hampton Rd, Desoto, TX 75115. Later that evening, a wake service will be held from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at First United Methodist Church, 201 South Dallas Avenue, Lancaster, TX 75146. A funeral service honoring Terasa’s memory will take place on June 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church 1`, 201 South Dallas Avenue, Lancaster, TX 75146.
