Mr. Travis Richards was born August 7, 1945 in Dallas, Tx to the parentage of Helen Oliver & Earnest Robinson. Travis lived most of his life in Dallas & the surrounding areas. Attending Dallas schools as well as Lincoln High School. He was a multi-talented man but his love for auto body/mechanic work led him to Blue Ridge Construction in Blue Ridge, Tx., where he was employed for over 23 years until his health failed. He was also employed with Tyler Refrigeration as a Refrigeration Tech, Road Runner Paint & Body in Richardson, Tx & Flowers Construction in Waxahachie, Tx. He loved GOD, fishing, shooting pool, grilling on his many BBQ grills, dancing and showing off his infectious smile. He also loved kids, sports, football in particular. Which led him to a brief enjoyment of playing semi pro football. Most importantly HE LOVED HIS BLACKTRUCK!

He accepted Christ at First Baptist Church in Waxahachie, Tx.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother (Earnest Jr), one daughter, one son and his Grandparents.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Margie (Moe). Three (3) sisters, Zenobia “Connie” Walker, DeLois Robinson and Cherlynn “Gail” Robinson. Two (2) Brothers, Kenneth Richards and Johnny Robinson. Three (3) sons, seven (7) grandsons and MarKayla, his only granddaughter. One special niece, Dwana Richards-Shelby and a host of other nieces, nephews and friends.
